I am not sure on manufacturer HU's Tink but they are quite common on aftermarket one's. If you have the pins it would be worth a look.
If you have a multimeter you could test the connection at the back whilst it is out to eliminate things.
i think my bro has a multimeter to test it but ill have to get hold of him,,ive got some pins somewere
ill have to have a look at it as soon as i get a chance, was going to see if its covered under warrenty as car is 15 months old,,
