I am a radio ham and some years back was asked
by the Local car dealer about problems with cars failing
to unlock unlocking and some having flat batteries if
left for a few days in some locations, the problem was
that the fobs were on a frequency right in the middle
of the most used part of the 70cm radio band, this is
a shared band with the military tv engineering ham
operators, nuclear installations and over the horizon
radar, all were there first, and use much in some cases
enough to power a town the size of Bradford more power,
Just who thought it a good idea I dont know but there
it is and is one reason I hate immobilises, the good news
is that I have not come across problems or had any with
Renault's but that does not mean it does not happen,
With the cars we had problems with the makers replaced
the immobiliser/cent locking with one that had more immunity
and they were ok after that, I had one car that if parked
under a airport flight path I had to wait for a gap in the
aircraft before I could start it.
I would think that you Navel neighbors have something to
do with it but it's not intentional and they were there first.

Who would design a vehicle that falls over when you stop?

If you find a fix for your problem please let us know it will help others.
