Okay, I can see where we have our wires crossed here.

I said that using your fog lights instead of main beam (also known as full beam) wasn't the crime of the century, which is true if you're aware of how main beam should be used. If someone is misguided enough to think that it's okay to use main beam when there's oncoming traffic, what they're doing with their fog lights is the least of everyone's worries.
Now don't even get me started on "aftermarket" Xenon lights!!
They are ILLEGAL and are worse than fogs for Dazzling!!!
Who mentioned "aftermarket"? I appreciate that the orignial point may have been a misunderstanding, but now you're just reading between the lines for the sake of an argument. For the record, mine are the real deal: Factory fitted, self-levelling and with working (albeit leaky) headlamp jetwash.
