I've had similar symptoms cured by changing the temperature sender.
Theory was the sender was telling the
the engine was warming up quicker than it really was, so the
then leaned out the fuel mixture too soon and caused 'a fit of the wickers' for about a mile or so, about a minute after first starting the engine.
First thing the garage changed was the
pack - "Coz it's always the
pack on Renaults"- but that made no noticable difference
