Has anyone ever tested the resistance of the primary and secondary windings in the
packs as demonstrated in the link below. Although the
shown in the link may be of different design I think the principle should be the same.
If it could ascertained what the resistances of a new
should be it may lead to a means of testing suspect
. This could help members identify problem
A simple multi-meter and a good

is all that is required.
