If you've had a new battery and a new alternator I'm guessing that you've problems in the recent past.
The next thing you need to do is the basics.
You need to have the battery load tested and checked,if it's found to be faulty then get a new one under warranty.
You need to have the alternator charge checked and if found to be faulty then it needs to be replaced under warranty.
If both of the above are OK,then you need to have a drain off test done. This involves having an ammeter placed between the negative terminal on the battery and the lead that attatches to it.If you get a reading of anything over 0.2 amps, then you have a drain. From there you work out where the drain is.
Thank You for your answer.
I think the alternator is ok because after starting the engine, the lights in the saloon lit up brightly - meaning the alternator gives power.
What does everyone think about the starter in this situation?
