Unfortunately the only thing that the warning light is indicating is that there is a fault in the ABS system somewhere,it's not worn pads.
Ideally you need to get the car to a decent independant garage to read the codes of the system and this will help you find the problem.There aren't many aftermarket code readers that can read Renault ABS systems correctly,but if you could find a local Renault specialist that would be your best bet.
I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
