Leaking Tyre Pressure Monitoring Valves

My four Tyre Pressure Monitoring Valves have worked perfectly for the last seven years. I'm on to my third set of tyres with the same valves now.

Problem is that one of the valves has started to give a slow leak. This seemed to happen in the cold weather recently so I'm wondering if there is some moisture in there that has frozen.

Has anyone had similar problems? I'm thinking that a little WD40 or light oil might help to give a better seal. (or it might stuff it ).

At the moment I have pushed the pressure up to 35psi and is seems to be holding but this may just have clear the valve of dust or moisture.
