Tyre pressure sensors

I spotted the link below on Ebay where a guy called Brian has reviewed the Renault TPMS.
He maintains replacement sensors are much cheaper in France and a UK company named MOTEST was able to programme the new sensors to the car.
Has anyone seen this previously and is likley to be a sound remedy. If so does anyone know of any french motor factors who may be able to supply.

I have also done further research and there appears to be a company called "Omitire" who supply equipment for reprogramming tyre sensors. The equipment would sem to cost aroud 400-500 a pop.

Any comments would be appreciated as I think one of my sensors is getting kinda lazy
