I've done the glove box liner removal when I fitted my TomTom docking kit. From memory...
There's the T20 screw that you've already discovered for starters. Take that out.
Then there's actually four clips around the edge of the liner, only two of which you can see from inside the glovebox. You're looking for a couple of squared off 'U' shapes cut into the liner close to the edge that meets the door. Put a flat blade screwdriver in each of these and gently lever up the tab while pulling on the liner. You should be able to release them one at a time. The other two clips can't be accessed, but a good tug will get them free.
You'll need to drop the tuner/amp module out to get reasonable access to the connectors on the rear. For that you'll need a fairly stubby T20 driver, as access to the screws means a standard length driver is unlikely to fit.
