I changed a sensor on a Clio 2 the other day,and it was a pain the ar$e!.From memory there were two plastic clips that needed to be pushed in to be able to get the sensor out,I think you have to push a small screwdriver into two holes either side of it to get it out.
Yep - once I'd worked out which bit I was looking for, I just said 'bugger it' and booked the car into the garage
Fortunately(!) it's due a service anyway ...
Still a bit of a shocker when the speedo went to sleep and the engine management light came on whilst I was doing 70-odd on the A1 on Christmas Day, though ...
