Welcome to the forum Gary,

The dealership will always quote for anything they think needs doing.

The timing belt definitely needs doing because of the age of the car.

They will have said the rear bushes want doing because there might be a little crack in one or both, you could leave that for awhile if they are not clunking or affecting the handling.

The spark plugs are a stupid price !

You will get the jobs done for half the price of the dealers if you take it to an independent garage.

When my car was in a Renault dealer they told me I needed new discs and pads all round, I said I would do them myself, when I looked they were OK, when I went back to the dealers a month later they told me I needed just one disc renewing so I asked them how the other three repaired themselves?

A problem well stated is a problem half solved !
Currently in davesss's garage:
2002 Laguna Sports Tourer 1.8 Dynamique Moondust VF1KGOB, Fiat Siecento Micheal Schumaker, Kawasaki KLE M/Cycle and a cheap Mountain Bike.
