Discharging mobile phone

After charging my mobile phone in the car during a 2 hour journey, I forgot to remove it and left it connected to the 12volt accessory point. A few hours later I remembered and removed it from the car only to find it was as flat as a pancake. Is it known that this causes a reverse drain on the item connected when ignition is switched off?

Life is too short...laugh and enjoy it while you are able to

'24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I Think not !!
