Does anyone know an inexpensive way of diagnosing which connector is causing the problem. This has been an intermittent issue with my Lag 2 for several months now, however more recently the lights are on all the time.
Does this mean my airbag system will not work in the event of an accident?
I am all for soldering the connectors, as I am fairly competent with a soldering iron, however I will need to take the seats out to get to them, and am wondering if it is these connectors causing the problem, or is it possible there is a fault elsewhere?
Yup, if the fault light is on, the airbags are deactivated... so dont crash
Might be best to do both connections whilst youre at it.
When I had the same problem the garage did both sides for me as their computer diags machine cocked up and told them the wrong side.
