White knuckles

I have no idea of why I do it but when driving
our Clio I grip the steering wheel so tight my fingers
start to ache, never done it on other cars or bikes,
it's just on this one, there's absolutely nothing wrong with
the car it drives and brakes in a straight line you can
let go the steering and it just carries on.
So why do I do it? I purposely relax and ease my grip
but soon return to hanging on to the bloody thing as
though my life depends on it, tried all sorts of adjustments
to seat and wheel, just the same, my next try is to give
the wheel a good clean and degrease it in case its a
bit slippy but think I am clutching at straws, Anyone
else have this problem?

Who would design a vehicle that falls over when you stop?

If you find a fix for your problem please let us know it will help others.
