Hi folks, maybe a simple question but have had some conflicting answers.
Following my last service, the tech said that the battery needs a recharge.
I have a smart charger which I use for my camper etc so my question is
Can the car battery be charged in situ OR does it have to be disconnected and removed to be charged?
is charging the battery not the alternators job, unless the alternator is faulty then you should have no reason to be charing the battery really.
If you do need to charge the battery though, disconnect the terminals to isolate it from the car and just charge it in situ
