went to change a headlight bulb

and notcied that the negative earth terminal was loose.
maybe that's why i've noticed the headlights flickering over bumps?
maybe thats why it doesn't seem that healthy on cold startup
someone has already mentioned a small piece of rubber/plastic stoppping the tightening - i put a 22mm socket over the terminal and tapped it down until the connection was firm on the terminal and then did the nut up.....

lucy i found out really. it must have been like this since i got the car - because when the cambelt was done the battery hadn't been diconnected as i didn't have to re-programme anything
