The fault will still be held in the
memory,(so this will have to be erased),but if the cat cures the problem,then the car should run fine as the
will get the correct messages from it's various sensors.
Best thing to do is have the cat replaced,then have the
reset,then see if the problems/
codes reappear after a few weeks.
I'm pretty sure that disconnecting the battery won't reset the
