Hi Gav1n if memory serves me well the pre-tensioner bolt is 17mm spanner and if pushed away from you standing at the front of the drivers headlight this will slacken the pre-tensioner so you can then remove the belt and i would imagine if you then turn it anti clock wise after the belt is removed pulling on the 17mm bolt with a large spanner towards you that should start to loosen the bolt itself and i would imagine after its removed the re-tensioner should just come away from the side of the engine block??? i have to say iam only guessing here but i hope it helps Donald
