I'd take the pads out again and have a look and see if the whole surface has been touching the disc.If not I suspect that the wear ridges are the problem and you need to gently bed them in.
If that doesn't work,then the master cylinder may have been damaged when the caliper pistons were pushed back in.Did you take the top of off the reservoir when you pushed them back?.
I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
