You can check the sensors with a multimeter if you have one.Resistance and Milli-volts are the ones your looking for between the two pins from the sensor as you spin the road wheel,but you'll need a good quality meter as the cheaper ones can give false results on such small voltages and critical resistances.

Funny you should say that Lag, cause I was pretty sure it was a snap on scanner We also plugged it in and drove the car, you could see the speeds of all 4 wheels and the one that showed the fault was erratic
