Hi , wasn't too pleased myself,as i wasted 16 as well as 39:96, i did have the problem for a long while , first garage said the car was fine , and maybe if i was thinking of selling then get the light off by going to renault, but i then worried that if i had a real problem i wouldn't know as the lights were already on , they said at renault , if the battery has been below a certain voltage for a while it will cause the service light and parking brake light to stay on ,but it could be something eles i knew it was ok , and why it was on , could have left it ,but just wanted it gone , yes it is a rip off quite agree, i'd much rather have the old cars we had way back , roll the windows up and down yourself, not so many gadgets in them to go wrong, and you could fix them easier yourself, still thats progress i think , regards samy
