Pic 9. Remove the nuts from centre wiper. To have the wiper make the same sweep when you install it again, remember in which position it came off. The centre piece is splined to the outer piece. Perhaps marking the centre piece and outer piece (matching marks) will assist in making this easier. Once you have removed the nut, the wiper might have to be "pursuaded to give up its position" using only a mallet not a steel hammer. If you damage the centre piece you will not be able to re-install the nut.
Pic 10. Remove outer nut the same way as above. Perhaps using a releasing agent spraying onto the nut will help removing the nuts.
