If you are covered by fully comp insurance the repair will be free, if they can't repair it a new windscreen will cost you your XS, usually about 60. Check with your insurance company who their approved windscreen specialists are, if you don't use who they recommend they will limit how much they pay out. Use their recommended repairer and they will pay for everything( less the XS).

Depends where the chip is if it can be repaired and its size. Repairs are pretty good, it won't be invisible but will be better than a big chip.

Go to your local Autoglass or RAC windscreen branch or similar, they will have a look anf give a free assessment.
