I suggest you get the lock sorted - that way you know you can get into the car should the battery fail. Once that is sorted it may be best to take the car to an auto-spark. It could be a battery, charging or voltage drain problem. All easily checked by a decent spark using a simple multimeter.
Typical technicians - if the computer can't find anything they are lost.
I know this time of the year can be tough on batteries but I can quite easily leave both my diesel cars for up to 5 days at a time and both still start first time.
