Talking Spooky windows not spooky any more!

Hunted all over for the reason for this one, and finally, after finding no actual fault decided to put the fuse back and see what happened. That was four days ago, and since then everything has worked fine.

I am now convinced that, as I suspected, absolutely torrential rain (probably the heaviest I've ever experienced in 42 years of driving) had got into the wiring somewhere, and probably tracked the current.

Despite checking from front to rear of the car with a multi-meter, and visually checking the loom extensively without finding any fault, I think this was a one off fault, which now, having dried out, has resolved itself.

Thanks to all of you who came up with possible solutions.

It's lovely to have a working o/s window again.
