So what wires did they actually repair then , obviously not the right ones,
Thanks for this Mick - Guy who looked at car is Mark Askey, specialist with 17yrs Renault experience. He says there are 200 wires in Loom and he had to peel back insulation on some wires to check for corrosion, then he simply taped up wires. They fixed and tested car, so I have to assume they checked fusebox.
But as I say after 15 mins driving, car refused to start again. So he says only way to be sure of no corrosion is to replace entire loom.
So you have any idea how much a loom costs and where I can get one from? All help appreciated... Ta
