I had failure of the propshaft vibration damper on my 2002 Kangoo Trekka 4 x 4. Repaired the vibration damper using silicon having carefully centred the damper assembly first using temporary metal shims. Fitted it in my lathe and ran it at max rpm as a check - nil vibration. The rubber in the two steadyment bearings failed as well. Fixed them also with silicon. Both steadyment bearings can be easily renewed though and it is not paricularly difficult to renew the univerial joints. They appear to be a standard size.

Currently in tolsen's garage:
Trekka 1.9 DCI, Smart Cabrio Cdi (65 - 85 MPG) & Ford Transit 2.2 Duratorq TDCi
