Hello Danny,

It sounds like you need to check the alternator charge.The voltage at the bettery should be between 13.5 and 14.5 volts with the engine running and no load on the battery (no heater,heated rear screen etc on).Anything outside of these limits could be something to worry about.

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
