The red fuel warning light on mine illuminates just after the needle has reached zero - usually a couple of miles or when I come to the next roundabout
Are you having a problem or just curious. Also remember that fuel gauges are just that - a gauge of what may be in the tank - not an exact measuremnt
was just wondering because i don't have a trip meter and the last 1/4 tank doesn't seem to last very long, last time i filled up it was at empty with warning light on but only took 56 litres to fill, so either it's not a 66 litre tank as it should be or there's another 10 litres at that point which suggest a possible faulty sender unit.
either that or is there a trick to filling it fully, i've only had it 2 months.
thanks for replying so quickly
