Megane 2.0 IDE starting problem

Wondering if I can draw on the experience of some of you guys/gals with problem I have.

I have a 2000 Megane Coupe 2.0 IDE that has developed a starting problem. Car refuses to start when hot, will not even fire. If you leave it for 20mins or so it will start up without problem. The warning light for ignition comes on occasionally but goes out if you blip the engine. The warning light with the square with squiggly line.

Things I have tried.

Replaced TDC Sensor with new modified sensor.

Had the car in an auto electrician who tidied up some suspect wiring and replaced a thermal sensor. No difference and found no fault codes stored from a diagnostic.

Beginning to get an expensive hobby and I am getting no where.

Any ideas or pointers what I can try next?
