Yes.AFM/ MAF .Same thing!
I understand that when Maf is disconnected Ecu goes into default mode!What I dont understand is why is it that when I connect NEW MAF ,car looses power!Its as if ECU doesnt recognize it!As happens with Bmw, MAF needs to be coded by dealer!
Usually on some vehicles ,when you suspect you have a bad Maf .you simply disconnect it and if car has power,you know its a bad Maf .So,you buy a new one and car is fine again.
In my case this didnt happen,hence my asking if it needs to be coded!
