The 320d compact is a great car that is really quick,but
failure is unfortunately an all too common problem.
.The petrols are a far better bet,especailly the 1.9 318ti.
Look out for a 130 PD Golf,or if insurance will allow,a GTTDi 150 PD.Once you drive one,you'll want one.
there were a couple of years to 2004 I think when 320ds were absolute pants - of course with bimmer prices when it goes it makes lag costs look like a walk in the park
I've never really like the bmw compact, just looks a bit cut off ...
Don't reckon the insurance on anything above a 110 is a goer for the OP but yeah a 150 on a 3 door would be awesome
