Oh of course! Modern cars have a different wiring setup to cars of old don't they (sory I don't know the tech terms! Im not "up" on modern car electrics
) When I've wired in lights in the past I've simply tapped the loom for the lights socket - not the same on newer cars...
I probably dont actually need to fit the bypass relay to be honest bob, i think i could get away without it. but i just want to play safe for the sake of £25, not worth the risk. even if i dont need it, it just takes the extra load from the trailer of my cars lighting circuits.
just had a thought about fitting a socket in the boot though, would be handy at times. been a few times ive said damn why isnt there a socket in here.
