If it were me I would go back and ask if it's an essential safety feature why isn't fitted on all models. You could walk into their showroom and order a new vehicle without them. Bah humbug
My neighbour has a 2008 model which doesn't have them system fitted - yet it has Carnimat
It is well known that Renault dealers can disable the system but some insist on a letter of approval from your insurers - that I can understand.
Maybe you should try another dealer. Vote with your feet and tell the dealer you won't be back. No wonder the car market is in difficulties.
At least **** Turpin wore a mask.
When it comes to cost my local tyre dealer can fit a new sensor to each wheel for £28 all in and a local dealer charges £40 for programming. Now if I do my sums right that adds up to £152
