On all renault boxes the fill hole is located on the front of the gearbox casing... There is a largish plastic wingnut type screw to remove..

1: If it is the "PK6" 6 speed box then you will need to get to your dealer and buy some "TRP" oil .. Its Expensive and specialist..
Note that you must NOT over fill this box with oil .. It takes 2.4litres from empty..
If you are just topping up then you really need a special Dipstick that dealers use to measure the level.. My advise is to completely empty and then refill with the 2.4 as stated above..

2: If however you have a 5 speed unit then the oil is just any 75W80 oil available from Halfords etc etc.. Fill the gearbox through the Fill hole until it pours out of this hole..

Please do not fill throught the Rubber pipe that you have identified, this is the breather pipe..

The drain Bung is located on the bottom of the gearbox casing just below the Differential.. It looks identical to the Sump plug..
