I've found a couple of used parts oneBay for around £50 so the dilema is whether to take a chance on them or find an
repairer. I think it would cost more than a bullseye just to have it evaluated wouldn't it ?
To answer the question though, I don't know that the
is faulty. The car has been all over Slovakia and Poland and nobody there can work out what's wrong with it. I can't even get a proper explanation of the symptoms in English so it's a tricky one.
The garage where the car stands now has said this is the faulty part so all I have to do buy a replacement.
Being my old car I feel a little responsible for it still. If it was as easy to register a car in Slovakia as it is in the UK then I'd buy him another one but the registration costs were more than the UK value of the car !!
