Just give it a recharge if it is a new battery. Just take it out of the car and put it on a trickle charger for 24/48 hours. (But make sure you have some ventilation where you do that.)

The fact that it discharged doesn't mean it's knackered. Jump start the engine and take it for a good run and it will be ok again.

P.S. Make sure your alternator is charging enough if necessary; you didn't say why you installed a new battery in the first place, and I'm assuming the old one died of natural causes
