Im not sure if the laguna has the same timeline as the megane but this is what I know:

Renault meganes pre 2000 had one type of radio, then In 2000 they introduced the tuner list radios which had the same connector for the Iso fitting but had a totaly different arrangement for the display and remote.

It is not possible to get a tuner list ie after 2000 renault radio to work with older renaults. There are no adaptors either.

So if your radio is off a newer renault then you can not get the stalk and display to work with your car. This is the same situation for aftermarket headunits such as sony but as they are mainstream you can buy adaptors for these.
The display is very difficuilt to find a compatiable headunit but the remote is easier to get working.

As I said that is for a megane but as renaults have cross over parts i assume its the same.
