For those of you new to this forum using this for your advice the solenoid isn't easy to see in the picture metaljazman has posted,
it's on the back of the locking cylinder (part on the right)
I found some pictures for your information, one from a Megan scenic, and the other from a Laguna.

As I say these are attached to the locking cylinder. Don't worry if yours doesn't look exactly like these shown,
they come in in a variety of slight differences, for example my Lag solenoid is black backed opaque white front unlike the fully opaque one pictured above but the job is the same.
When you want to replace this I would suggest once removed to plugging it back in and try it again unhindered by the locking cylinder arm that it attachés to. Thins is to determine if its the locking mechanism that is jammed or the solenoid that is blown.
