Don't know why the emergency key won't work... does anyone know if the emergency key will work if the car is deadlocked??? might be why, but a stupid design if true!

If it is just a flat battery in the car, if you can get to the starter motor from the underneath, you could connect a second battery to the main feed to the starter motor. This should power up the electrics and your key fob will work.

Why do today what you can put off until tomorrow...
