I agree, even if you have to go down the route of replacing do the cheapest things first. And that one is a hell of a lot cheaper than a UCH from renault.

Even if it checks out Ok as the fault is intermitent is still might be a dodgy switch. If it is a Lag II Nik has, that would almost be the culprit. I haven't had it yet (touch wood) but aren't they a known bad piont?

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall.
Torque is how far you take the wall with you.
