Now that I have that job done, all trims back on, looking good! the window will only travel a couple of inches at a time when holding the switch. Is there some way of resetting the regulator / motor to travel the full distance or is it all coming out again?

Hoping for the simple solution.

My grand scenic passenger window failed yesterday morning. Renault dealer couldnt look at until next wednesday so in hurry got local garage look. They said whole regulator needed changing so cost me 200. Now a day later, yes a day!!, the rear passenger window has just gone with, I assume the same problem.

I have just ordered the parts from renault for 3 to try and fix the rear door.

Do I have any comeback on the original garage?
