Basically, car turns over wont fire intermittently.
Immobiliser light seems to function as to be expected.
All other electrics work ok.
I've resorted to parking car on a hill in the office car park and reversing up the drive at home so I can bump start if if required.
Local garage have had it for a day and couldn't fault it. (no error codes in
for crankshaft sensor present)
Since it came out of garage the fault has re-occured frequently, so much so I spoke to local dealer who recomended I go down and get the internals of the key checked over, which I did.
Still all ok but now they tell me I can get a full diagnostic, carried out for £85, to attempt to find the cause.
My question is this worth doing??
Many thanks in anticipation of a response
