For some weird reason the diagnostic equipment regularly fails to detect duff TDC sensors so in my view I suggest it be checked out. In 80% of TDC problems their electrical connections give the most trouble and Renault have modified this accordingly. In many cases a good clean of the sensor and its connections may help. I also know of mechanics who have actually soldered the joints together and covered them in heat shrink insulation.
