OK, last question.
What do the external springs on the rear brake calipers do? The new caliper didn't have it when I collected it and the old one broke when I tried to remove it in the shop.
I think they just stop pad rattle when the brakes are at rest. You should be able to pick up another one at a motor factors, they might only do kits for the whole of the car though?? Shouldn't really matter without it though.
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall.
Torque is how far you take the wall with you.
