Help! Window has wound itself down!

Help! My passenger window has decided at some point in the middle of the night to wind itself halfway down and now it wont go back up. Is this a common problem? What's it likely to be? Fuse? Window regulator? Electrics?

Is there anything I can do to get it back up and keep it up just for a couple of days until I can get a new regulator and fix it?

Or is there anywhere I can take it to right now that would be able to fix it fairly quicly if there's nothing that can be done to get it back up? I'm in Huddersfield. Would this sort of thing be an easy quick job? I was just about to set off to see my sister and young niece but I can't go anywhere with a window that wont work and's halfway down.
