Its always a bit difficult knowing when to buy a car (just before the current model is replaced, or wait for the new model)?

My school of thinking is to buy the model which is just heading out of production as the new model is introduced - this means that the hardest bargain can be driven (you may have to be flexible about colour/spec), but the reduced price you pay will accomodate the sharp initial depreciation. It all levels out after a few years anyway.

Plus, new models can have teething troubles which can be problematic to repair.

But at the end of the day, it's only advice, not a golden rule - follow your instincts, and you'll be happy whatever you decide.

Best of luck.

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
