Tried the disconnect battery idea as detailed in previous post, but still the same - now thinking its a fault in the module ( what the wiring connector goes into to ) thats attached to the side of the motor. I have also had the motor off and to bits, but that seems to be ok, so I don't think thats the problem.
I will just have to go to a local breakers now and try a regulator assembly they've removed from a Scenic 11 on mine, not too much of a problem as I'm running the car with the door card off, so it means just plugging the regulator assembly onto my wiring connector to see if the problem still exists or not before buying.
