Fuses normally run more than one thing so if everything else is working, could be a break in the actual wire, you'd need then to trace along the wire to find the break.....however, I would say to check every fuses in the box to see if any are blown!
Sorry, when you say you've checked for power at the socket, did you remove the trim and check for power at the rear or just check for power from the front? If you didn't get behind the lighter it may well just been diconnected. Happens occassionally if people remove trim etc to get an aftermarket head unit or something in....worth a look....if you haven't already done so
